Principal Advisor Women Offenders

The Principal Advisor Women Offenders provides advice and support to senior staff of Corrective Services in relation to the development, accreditation, approval and evaluation of programs and services to meet the needs of women offenders.

The Principal Advisor Women Offenders is also responsible for conducting relevant research and engaging in consultation to produce standards of best practice for the management of women offenders, and for the development, delivery and effectiveness of policy, programs and services related to the needs of women under the supervision of Corrective Services and ensuring that women offenders have equitable access to programs and services.

The Principal Advisor Women Offenders works in consultation with the Offender Services & Programs Advisory Team to facilitate an integrated delivery of relevant services and programs for women offenders in custody and in the community.
