Proposed Mobile Phone Jamming Trial at Lithgow Correctional Centre
- Corrective Services NSW, as part of the Australian Corrective Services Administrators' Council, has applied to the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) for an exemption under the Commonwealth Radiocommunications Act to allow a mobile phone jamming trial at Lithgow Correctional Centre.
Full steam ahead for new South Coast Correctional Centre
- The South Coast Correctional Centre is located in South Nowra five kilometres from the Nowra CBD. Construction commenced in July 2008 and is expected to be completed in December 2010. The Centre will be fully operational by early 2011.
Training - Brush Farm Corrective Services Academy
- Corrective Services offers a wide range of specialised Corrections training to both internal staff and those from other correctional jurisdictions.
